Our Team

Adeel Ahmad, M.D.

Founder & Managing Partner

Dr. Ahmad brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, healthcare leadership, and business acumen to Avantage Health. As a board-certified practicing physician with clinical, healthcare management and life sciences business experience; and an MBA from Babson College, Dr. Ahmad bridges the gap between clinical practice and business strategy.

Dr. Ahmad has been in clinical practice (dermatopathology, dermatology, pathology) for more than a decade and has firsthand experience in healthcare practice management, growth strategies, and successful practice exits/transitions. Apart from clinical private practice, Dr Ahmad has significant experience in life sciences and healthcare technology space and been part of several healthcare start-ups. Dr. Ahmad's experience as a healthcare practice owner who has successfully navigated the complexities of practice growth and exit provides Avantage Health clients with invaluable perspective on both the clinical and business aspects of healthcare transactions. Adeel understands the unique considerations, concerns, and opportunities that physicians face when considering practice transitions. He understands at a deeper level that a healthcare practice exit is much more than a business transaction.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr Ahmad has held leadership positions in national physician organizations and regularly lectures nationally and internationally. A firm believer in the power of gratitude and giving back, Dr. Ahmad maintains several adjunct/volunteer faculty appointments nationally and internationally and routinely mentors medical students, residents and early career physicians.

Ovais Siddiqui

Co-Founder

Ovais Siddiqui is a highly experienced corporate finance professional specializing in M&A execution, corporate development, and business strategy. With a track record of advising founder-led, privately owned, PE-backed, and generational businesses, Ovais has successfully led client engagements for businesses valued at over $1 billion (cumulative) and secured growth capital and debt funding of approximately $1 billion.

Having held leadership roles at Auctus Capital Partners, PMCF Advisors, CBQ Bank, EmiratesNBD Bank, and Habib Bank AG Zurich, Ovais brings deep expertise in growth advisory, strategic growth initiatives, M&A deal structuring, financial modeling, and business development across diverse industries. His ability to drive project/engagement success, optimize value creation, and navigate complex negotiations makes him a trusted advisor to business owners, investors, and executive teams.
